Veson Nautical launches the latest version of IMOS, v 4.0

LR Fairplay and Veson Nautical extend their relationship to offer the Veson Nautical Online Distances. The service used via LR Fairplay may be used in combination with the Fairplay Ports Guide to allow users to access port information while using the Distances program. The latest version of Veson Nautical's Standalone Distances is released. The new version includes a graphical display of the route on a world map as well as the addition of several hundred new ports, with special focus on the Asia Pacific region.

Veson Nautical is pleased to announce that United Product Tankers (UPT) of Hamburg, Germany has selected Veson's IMOS system to manage its chartering, operations, accounting and administrative processes. IMOS will link UPT and partner offices in Germany and Cyprus. UPT notes that "IMOS was picked after thorough analysis of the alternatives and envisaged benefits from use of IMOS include: more effective work routines, availability of 'real time' financial information and appropriate future support from Veson Nautical."
