Veson Nautical Corporation has moved its corporate headquarters to 162 Columbus Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts. The new office was custom designed by Roy Leone, and it optimizes collaboration and interaction among employees. Additionally, Veson has added Jamie Sheldon, Director of Product Management, to the growing staff at the new Boston headquarters. Neste Oil Corporation has licensed IMOS to manage its fleet of tankers. According to Joakim Kärkkäinen, vice president of the Shipping, Finance, and IT department, "IMOS is the most user-friendly shipping software available today." Netherlands-based Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group (SNTG) has selected IMOS to handle all chartering, operations and accounting functions for the company's extensive Inland Tanker division. SNTG's Inland barge fleet will use IMOS to handle all voyages, contracts, scheduling, and communications from vessel to shore. The National Shipping Corporation of Saudi Arabia (NSCSA) has licensed IMOS to manage their chartering and operational activities for its growing fleet of tankers and very large crude carriers (VLCCs) operating world wide in the global tanker markets. Veson has expanded its organization by opening a new office in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, to be headed up by technology sales and customer care professional Ramon Lagrand. SolArc, Inc. and Veson Nautical announced that they will jointly develop MarineCenter, a functional extension to SolArc RightAngle that enables workflow and data integration of SolArc RightAngle with IMOS. MarineCenter will provide global energy companies new capabilities to manage vessel and positioning costs. Veson Nautical is pleased to announce that Fredrik Knutsen has joined the team. Fredrik will head the sales and support divisions for North and South America. With experience in the operational, technological and logistical aspects of shipping as well as prior exposure to Veson software, Fredrik will hit the ground running.
