Argenmar
Argenmar, a privately owned shipping conglomerate based in Buenos Aires, transports iron ore and ore products, grains, bi-products, petcoke, fertilizers and project cargoes for clients from the US Gulf, Venezuela, Brazil, and Argentina to Europe, the Mediterranean and the Far East. Recently the company sought a technology solution with a central platform to manage the entire spectrum of its operations - voyage estimating, trading, chartering, cargo planning, operations, accounting and back office functions.
Argenmar selected IMOS because the software provided an integrated, sophisticated and easy-to-use system that allowed the commercial and operational desks to base strategic decisions through a singular interface and database. Remote users access the home hub via a secure IMOS interface link whereby all modules, trading tools, and commercial data are safely available from anywhere.
