Benefits and Perks

In addition to generous health and dental benefits, 401K, health club membership and flexible spending, Veson Nautical offers a number of convenient, fun and valuable perks to their employees.

Food
On Friday’s Veson Nautical gathers its Boston office employees and provides lunch for all. Free food seems to be omnipresent as we also celebrate new hires, visitors, sales, birthdays, bug bash day, snow days… you get the picture. The Back Bay offers a wealth of delicious take-out options and it is our unwritten mission to try them all. The kitchen is also stocked with beverages and snacks to keep those neurons firing.

Environment
Taking a page from Joel on Software, we know that people will enjoy their work and be most productive if they are comfortable and can leverage technology. We’re currently expanding into the space across the hall and building offices for all of our developers. We offer Aeron chairs, dual flat-screen monitors, and lots of natural light in an airy loft setting.

Free T Pass
Veson offers a Free Monthly T Pass. Multiple stations are just a few blocks from the office providing easy access to other parts of the city.

Location
Veson Nautical is located in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. The Back Bay runs along the Charles River on the opposite side of Cambridge. Accessibility, beauty, convenience and variety make this trendy neighborhood a great place to work. The area is home to outdoor farmers markets, lovely Boston Common and Boston Public Garden, elegant boulevards, excellent shopping, art galleries, famous architecture, and first-rate dining.

“In June of 2007 I was able to attend the Nor-Shipping Conference and Exhibition in Oslo, Norway. I was able to interact with our clients and prospects in-person and get a real feel for the shipping industry. In my free time I was able to sail through the fjords of Norway, visit the King’s Palace, and hike up to Hollmenkollen; the site of the world’s second oldest ski jump competition.”
