John is a co-founder of Veson Nautical.

His passion for solving complex problems, continuous innovation, and working closely with clients is a core value for the entire organization. John has been associated with Veson since 1992 and was instrumental in creating the architecture for the company’s Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS). Prior to joining the company that was founded by his father, Michael Veson, John managed strategic consulting projects for Microsoft Corporation and was a member of the Internet Explorer development team.

John holds a BA in Computer Science and Economics with honors from Brown University and earned his MBA from Harvard University.

Sean joined Veson Nautical in 2012 and serves as Veson Nautical’s President and COO.

At Veson, Sean is responsible for driving and managing company operations including Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Veson’s regional offices. Sean previously worked at PowerAdvocate, where he was responsible for sales, product delivery, and customer support for several software products. He also served as a strategy consultant with The Parthenon Group, a global consulting firm, and he began his career in the Venture Capital/Private Equity industry.

Sean earned his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and graduated cum laude with a BA from Amherst College.

Tim joined Veson Nautical in 2017 and serves as Veson Nautical’s CFO. Tim leads all financial activities worldwide and provides strategic financial guidance.

Tim brings significant experience working in financial and operational roles in the technology industry. Before joining Veson, he was Vice President of Finance at Dynatrace, a private equity-backed software company. Prior to Dynatrace, he held multiple roles at PTC and British Telecom. Tim also served as Head of Finance/CFO for the Many Brains Project, a nonprofit health technology startup focused on accelerating progress in mental health research.

Tim holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom.

Richard has served as Veson’s Senior Vice President, Strategy and Advisory Board member since 2011.

In this role, Richard works closely with our global commercial operations teams and drives business development efforts worldwide. In addition, Richard is focused on further developing Veson’s partnerships. As a member of the Advisory Board, Richard also plays a significant role in Veson’s growth strategy. With over 30 years of maritime experience, the last 12 of which as Managing Director at LR Fairplay / IHS Fairplay, Richard brings considerable industry knowledge, management experience, and commercial understanding to the team. As managing director of Fairplay, Richard led a team which developed the company into the leading maritime information business, experiencing double-digit growth for 12 consecutive years.

Jesse has led Veson Nautical’s Professional Services team since 2011.

He has been with the company since 2007. Jesse is responsible for leading Veson’s global Professional Services and Technical Solutions groups, with oversight for all active implementations and ongoing client support. Previously, Jesse served as Veson’s Director of Professional Services; Program Manager for strategic client and international implementations; and Lead Project Manager for strategic clients. Jesse has been a key contributor to the growth of the company’s client services organization.

Jesse holds a BS degree in IT and Finance from the University of Vermont as well as the PMP® designation from the Project Management Institute.

Greg has led Veson Nautical's Commercial team since January of 2013.

At Veson, Greg is responsible for growing revenue as well as developing the sales strategy and international sales team that make that possible. Greg is a veteran of software sales management and business development with over 23 years of experience. Greg joined Veson Nautical with experience from several Boston based technology companies where he was Vice President of Sales including CollegeWeekLive, Brainshark, and DigitalGuardian. At these companies, he was responsible for sustaining revenue growth as well as building and developing the sales team.

Greg holds a BS in Business Administration from Cornell University.

Shira Haddad has built a career in Quality Assurance spanning over a decade. Prior to joining Veson in 2011, she was a QA and Professional Services Manager for a software company based in Israel that provides an ECM systems migration product for Microsoft SharePoint Services. In her tenure at Veson, Shira has held numerous roles. She started as a QA Engineer, transitioned into Program Management, led the Quality Assurance organization, and now provides leadership to the full Engineering team at the company. She is responsible for driving the Development, Quality Assurance and Release Engineering teams to success by enhancing collaboration through best practices and processes across the different teams.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from The Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

Anna Corfey has been with Veson Nautical since 2017. In her role as Director of Human Resources, Anna is responsible for leading HR activities worldwide and providing strategic guidance on human capital initiatives. Anna places an emphasis on building HR infrastructures, developing and executing strategic HR plans, and working effectively with leadership and employees at all levels of an organization. She brings over 15 years of HR experience to Veson Nautical, including time spent in biotech, non-profit, and professional service sectors. In her career, Anna has focused on scaling businesses through all types of growth, and aligning the HR function in performance-driven, customer-driven, and market-driven organizations.

Anna holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with an HR emphasis from the University of Phoenix.

Regional Offices

John joined Veson Nautical in 2011 and serves as Director, Asia-Pacific.

Based in Singapore, John is responsible for delivering effective management and execution of client projects and relationships; office administration; and facilitating business development in the region. Prior to joining Veson, John worked for Oracle and Sun Microsystems. He has successfully helped grow regional offices in Asia and a Greater China presence for several companies while living and working in Hong Kong for more than 9 years. John is a certified PMP®/PRINCE2 Practitioner and accustomed to working with senior executive leadership, clients, PMO functions, and large global teams in multiple disciplines.

John holds a BS from San Diego State.

George has been with Veson Nautical since 2005 and serves as Director, Europe, Middle East, & Africa.

Based in London, England, George manages a team of project managers and application consultants to help Veson deploy and market Veson Nautical solutions in this region. In addition to his role as regional director, George contributes to product design and business process evaluation, leveraging his more than 20 years' experience in the shipping and engineering fields. Earlier in his career, George was one of the original management team members at Nautical Technology Corporation and ABS Nautical Systems, where he participated in the design, development, and implementation of the SafeNet system for vessel management.

George earned an MS from Rutgers University. He was awarded the Raisler Fellowship and is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Hellenic Technical Chamber.
