Security
The IMOS Security system is designed to protect data and prevent unauthorized access to the IMOS environment. The system takes a multi-tiered approach. Rights are defined for individual users and groups of users. Privileges may be assigned for each modular component of IMOS and for objects such as vessels, companies, and pools.
The application resides within the company office network. If outside access is required, Citrix or Terminal Server may be used to allow for a secure external connection.
