IMOS Data Center

The Informational and Security Underpinning of IMOS

The Data Center is the informational and security underpinning of the IMOS system. Changes made here are automatically updated throughout the other modules. By reducing manual input, this module greatly increases efficiency and accuracy throughout your operations.

The IMOS security system is designed to protect data and prevent unauthorized access to the IMOS environment. The system takes a multi-tiered approach. Rights are defined for individual users and groups of users. Privileges may be assigned for each modular component of IMOS and for objects such as vessels, companies, datasets, and pools.

The Data Center resides within the company office network. If outside access is required, Citrix or Terminal Server may be used to allow for a secure external connection.
