  • Collaborate with shipping industry leaders in a dynamic classroom environment.
  • Benefit from hands-on training and lectures led by senior Veson Nautical consultants, guiding you through IMOS Reporting best practices.
  • Create valuable reports for your business by mastering Grouping and Aggregate Functions; Dynamic Joins; Custom Expressions and Conditional Formatting; as well as Voyage and P&L Snapshots. Attendees will create at least 15 custom reports to take back to their companies at the end of the workshop.

This workshop is suitable for all levels and functional roles including beginner, intermediate, and advanced IMOS users in chartering, operations, finance, and more:

  • Chartering: Learn how to generate tonnage and freight revenue reports and view them by brokers, customers, COA versus SPOT business owners and cargo grades and more
  • Operations:  Learn how to generate actual voyage economic performance reports compared to estimates, overall voyage profitability with the ability to view them by trade lane, vessel type, operator and more
  • Demurrage: Identify outstanding demurrage claims, note periodic differences between calculated and settled demurrage for increased negotiating power, identify demurrage time and costs by counterparty, ports and vessels
  • Finance and Accounting: Learn how to generate global voyage profitability report on a periodic basis and compare month over month accrual results. Also generate overall outstanding ars/aps and exception reports to enhance invoice processing workflow and more
  • General: generate exception reports and data completion reports to boost quality of downstream reports

Our expert Consultants will walk attendees through the creation of nine (9) reports during the session. At the end of the course, workshop attendees will leave with a total of 21 ready-to-use report templates. These reports will span all reporting functions, and include:
